Pipes and Drums offers students the unique opportunity to be part of a band that prides itself on learning the traditions of ceremony and developing the skills needed to perform at a high standard at a variety of School and Civic functions.
Students practice regularly together and through commitment and enthusiasm have formed a bond that extends beyond the band into the broader life of the School. There is no doubt that the sound of Pipes and Drums echoing throughout the School grounds creates an atmosphere that students and staff at Macarthur are proud to be associated, with many students beginning their pathway to performance through the mentoring of older students.
